They Can't All Be Good

Alexis had a strange night last night. I put her to bed at the usual 8:00, but she couldn't seem to fall asleep. At 9:30, she actually bolted upright and started asking for something to drink. Nearly two hours later, she finally managed to get to sleep. Then the poor kid woke up at 5:00. I ended up bringing her into our bed where she proceeded to beat on me until Daddy finally got up with her at 7:00. There is literally a bald spot on the side of my head from her playing with my hair for two hours. I would be mad, but I think she's just jealous that she doesn't have much hair of her own.
