adorable...

over halloween Genny spent the night at her aunt and uncles where they made a black and orange halloween gingerbread house. (????) Apparently halfway through her uncle said "genny, let's not eat the construction supplies." With black teeth and black and orange stained lips she looked at him shocked: "I'm not! I wouldn't."

I love the one where she has her tongue between her lips. Such concentration.

De-lurking to say how sweet are those pictures??? We tried to build a gingerbread house once. Once.

@WWoW--She licked the candy cane, yelled, "YUCK!" and went on her merry way, never to sample another piece of candy that is probably older than her.

Kewl house! I'm guessing Meg will help eat it after Christmas? ;)

Oh, I love gingerbread houses and never do them! The Pumpkin is still too young to handle it, but by next year she probably will.

Alexis is so cute! She's really concentrating on putting those pieces on.

She is just precious! She did a very good job on this house, too.

We had playgroup this morning and there were some tales of gingerbread house making. Either the kids ate so much candy there wasn't enough for the house, or the kids put all the candy on the house and decided to gently lick the house.

Good job Alexis!!

Awesome pictures.
I brought a pre-assembled Gingerbread house kit. Not sure when we're going to do it - but those pictures make it look easy!?

Heehee. I love the little drool puddle by the candy cane in that one pic :D
All the photos are so cute! And your little Missy is so darling!!

@Cathy--Pre-assembled are TOTALLY easy. That one came with the "panels" all made and just required icing to glue it all together. Super easy.
