I believe that what's fair is fair and it's only fair that if I'm going to get all teary-eyed in the middle of a work meeting, you should too. This is, after all, your fault. I received an email from one of the amazing souls who works at Center for Victims today and YOU DID THIS, INTERNET PEOPLE.

Every year, I am thankful to have you, your blog followers, our volunteers and the community’s support during the holidays.

I have been so fortunate in my childhood to have never had the worry of waking up to Christmas with nothing under the tree. Seeing the families reactions to the amazing gifts they receive, I am thankful to be a part of Center for Victims and partner with you. Last year, I had one woman come to us in tears of such gratitude. Her husband was recently murdered, leaving her with twin girls and son. With the holiday season being filled with the loss of her husband, the worry of providing toys for her family only brought more stress. When her advocate called to inform her about the toy donations, we were able to lessen her worries.

This year marks my third Christmas with you and Center for Victims. I just wanted to say thank you again for being such a helping hand in providing children and families with happiness and hope.
